Testing Locations
The U.S. Embassy COVID-19 webpage (Updated as of June 14, 2022) provides the following information on testing:
One of the simplest ways to be tested specifically for travel is the Incheon Airport COVID-19 Testing Center referenced by the U.S. Embassy. This center offers both RT-PCR and Antigen tests, provides health declaration certificates, and also publishes when test results are ready.
The Incheon Airport COVID-19 Testing Center offers the following tests:
Depending on the test taken and the time it was taken, results may be available same-day (with antigen test results sometimes back in as little as an hour) or next day.
Testing at Incheon Airport requires an advance reservation. To reserve a test time, you can use Incheon Airport's safe2go website: https://safe2gopass.com/ It is strongly recommended to reserve a test time as soon as your departure date from Korea has been established as testing availability may fill up.
- Testing for travel purposes. If you need a COVID test for travel or other purposes, many local hospitals and clinics offer them for a fee, usually between $100 and $300. The U.S. Embassy has no designated testing centers; however, a list of COVID-19 testing sites is available here. This list is non-comprehensive and provided for informational purposes only. You can also check the Incheon Airport website for information on COVID-19 testing options at the airport. Please note this testing center is located before passenger check-in and requires an appointment, so it is not available to passengers in transit. Please ensure that the clinic you choose will provide test results that comply with the guidelines of the country you are traveling to and those of your airline, as travelers present this documentation to their airline. For additional information, including recommendations and requirements after you travel, please refer to the CDC’s Frequently Asked Questions .
